Each LNF program was developed
with one person in mind.Our approach holistically addresses a survivor's needs on their journey to safety and wholeness.
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT:
We are committed to providing members of the under-served and under-represented community, including human trafficking survivors, foster, the system involved and/or transitional aged youth, teenage parents, etc., an opportunity to compete for professional careers in sustainable industries.
Our program provides immediate employment opportunities in our Community Engagement Center which provides access to our Career Closet for those preparing for interviews and a Clothing and Resource Closet for everyday needs.
Additionally, we offer introductory workshops on Basic Internet Connectivity and Computer Use, CyberSecurity, and Entrepreneurship.
ITbiz offers a California-certified Pre-Apprenticeship program. It provides intermediate technology, project management, sales, customer service, entrepreneurial training, and life skills support to underserved and underrepresented community members, helping them secure financially sustainable careers. These programs are provided in partnership with Cisco, Google, Hewlett-Packard, CompTIA, Merritt College, Oakland Adult & Career Education, Corporate E-Waste Solutions, Wells Fargo, Synack, Transformation Continuum, SoulJen Solutions, Stanly Community College, Pitch Perfect, Vorentoe, Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, and our many community partners and volunteers.
