AVU was founded by Erica Thompson. It is a ministry that aims to provide school clothes, backpacks and all of the other necessary supplies in order to begin the school year completely prepared. We believe it is true what
they say ‘It takes a village to raise a child’.
A Hope and a Future
A Hope and a Future is a survivor leader expression of love and support to vulnerable people during times of crisis.
It was founded by Vanessa Powell during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide food and supplies to residents in hotels/motels known for human trafficking.
We have selected an Oakland based hotel to adopt and received approval from their management to provide weekly distribution of supplies, food and resources.
If you would like to join our efforts please make an appointment with FELICIA by texting or calling 209-691-3414 to donate or drop off supplies on Wednesday's from 10-12pm at 22580 Grand Street Hayward ca 94541.

Agape Design Expressions specializes in customizing apparel of all kinds including t-shirts, leggings, jackets; accessories such as tote bags, masks, and miscellaneous items like wall decor and much more. We are dedicated to bringing happiness and freedom to the community by creating products that speak love, identity, and life.
Ray of Light Performing Arts
Ms. Reagan Griffith-Aragones, survivor, overcomer, and founder of Ray of Light Performing Arts, a faith-based performing arts school, is embracing diversity and promoting positive self-body image and inclusiveness. We teach self-love, self-confidence, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the performing arts. We provide a safe and accepting environment for all students (including survivors) to thrive as dancers, actors, and performing artists! Ray of Light offers an array of dance styles and musical theater to students age 2-adult. Group and private lessons available seven days a week. Please see our list of classes online.
