Darlene Sloan-Hawkins | Workforce Development Specialist, Alameda County

Darlene Hawkins is an ambassador, public servant, and influential networker with over 25 years of experience in human services. This experience includes working with government-funded programs, initiating and leading innovative projects, managing workforce development contracts, and leading coalition efforts to improve equity, diversity, and inclusion of marginalized populations in targeted high-growth industry sectors. Darlene brings a wealth of experience working with diverse talent and providing customized business services to support recruitment needs for local employers. Darlene also facilitates the East Bay Inter-Agency Training Council (EB/IATC), bridging the gap between industry and workforce partners, local education agencies, community training providers, and other community-based organizations currently focusing on IT Training and Career pathways.
